Individual Lessons
Whether you would like to renew your interest in an instrument you once played, or always wanted to give something a try, it is NOT too late to begin private musical or artistic lessons. Expressing creativity through art or music can improve a person’s emotional well-being and lead to a longer and happier life. On-site weekly individual lessons are available. Instruments are required for music lessons. A 10% tuition discount is offered for adults ages 60 and over. Lessons scheduled before 2pm M-F receive a 15% discount. Scholarships are available based on individual need.
Fine Arts Activities
Artistic events can be Taylor-made to fulfill the requirements of your community. Off-site educational group classes encompass art, music, and acting. Group class tuition is deeply discounted. Our participatory arts experiences involve therapeutic musical entertainment and music appreciation by our faculty presented at your facility.
Senior Tour
Students from the Conservatory donate their time and talents to The Senior Tour concert series to enrich the lives of the seniors in our community. This event runs for one hour and is available on Friday evenings and weekends. The audience is encouraged to participate with familiar tunes by singing and clapping. Please note that ownership of a piano is not necessary. Michelle Cosgrove, our Senior Tour Coordinator contacts area communities in order to book these student performances throughout the year. Recitals may be requested at any senior facility in our operating region.
