In the event of a student absence, please notify your teacher in
advance, if at all possible. Refer to your teacher's
cancellation policy instructions and leave a message on the teacher
answering machine at CCM at 215.340.1045. State your name,
your teacher's name, your lesson day and time and the reason for
your absence. Prior notification does not exempt students from
payment. Students are charged for all lessons for which they
register, including those missed through student absence.
In the event of an extended absence due to illness or other reason
accepted at the sole discretion of the Artistic Director, a student
may be placed on temporary cancellation. However, a student placed
on temporary cancellation will not be guaranteed their scheduled
lesson time upon return. A written request is required and
all decisions will be based upon the date received. The Conservatory
reserves the right to cancel classes due to insufficient enrollment,
severe weather conditions or any emergency involving the safety
of students, faculty and staff. Instructor cancellations and
school closings will be made up at a mutually agreeable time.

Each teacher maintains a personal make-up policy. This is
supplied in writing to each student. Students and parents
are encouraged to discuss their teacher's make-up policies. Teachers
should not be expected to make up more than one missed lesson per
term.

A full tuition refund is possible ONLY up to one
week prior to the first day of individual lessons
or group classes. Exceptional circumstances are
reviewed on an individual basis.
Fees are non-refundable.

The Conservatory reserves the right to assign,
transfer or dismiss any student. In the case of an extended faculty
absence, for any reason, a
qualified substitute will be assigned and lessons will continue.

The Conservatory offers scholarships to students with a financial
need. Please call to receive a financial aid application.

The Community Conservatory does not
discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, sexual
orientation, national origin, age or disabilities in hiring practices
or the provision of services.
