Andrea Levine - BM, Boston University
A native of Bucks County PA, Andrea Levine began studying the violin at age 7 with one of the most renowned teachers in the Philadelphia area, Lee Snyder. Ms. Levine is a recent graduate of Boston University where she studied with Bayla Keyes and received a degree in Violin Performance and Business Administration. Ms. Levine has also worked with a number of prominent teachers including Almita Vamos, Joseph de Pasquale, Kimberly Fisher, Richard Amoroso, Jamie Buswell, and Herbert Light. Andrea’s performances include a solo performance with the Newtown Chamber Orchestra, a tour China with the Philadelphia Youth Orchestra, and appearances in Carnegie Hall and Symphony Hall with the Boston University Symphony Orchestra. Ms. Levine currently performs as a freelance artist as well as a member of groups such as the Newtown Chamber Orchestra, Delaware Valley Philharmonic Orchestra, Pennsylvania Sinfonia, and the Independence Sinfonia. Ms. Levine also maintains her own private studio and is on the faculty of the Community Conservatory in Doylestown.
