Dena Condron, MMT, MT-BC - Temple Univ., SUNY Potsdam

Dena Condron, MMT, MT-BC is a board-certified music therapist with the Kardon Institute for Arts Therapy. She received the Bachelor of Music Education from State University of New York at Potsdam and the Master of Music Therapy from Temple University. She is a part-time faculty member of the department of music therapy at Temple University and teaches an Introduction to Music class to adults with developmental disabilities through the Community College of Philadelphia. She is a frequent presenter on topics such as music therapy with geriatrics and people with developmental disabilities. An authority on music therapy history, she is the author of a book entitled “The American Association for Music Therapy: From Inception to Unification.” She is also a professional vocalist who has performed with Opera Theatre of Rochester, Philomusica Chorale and the classic rock band “No Mules.”
