Eala Clarke

     Eala was a double major in vocal performance and music education at Temple University on scholarship and studied harp began in 1991 with Leigh Melander, and continued with well-respected harper, fiddler, and singer Kathy DeAngelo, as well as with reknowned harper Grainne Hambly from County Mayo in the west of Ireland. Eala also studies the Irish language with Elizabeth Crehan Anderson, a true treasure--widely regarded as a keeper of the flame and champion of Gaeilge.
      Eala is a member of The Delaware Valley Celtic Harp Ensemble the American Harp Society. Her first CD "Longing", features Kathy DeAngelo on fiddle and bodhran and Dennis Gormley on Irish flute, whistles, guitar, and upright bass, Bob Berry on cello, The Delaware Valley Celtic Harp Ensemble, and Gráinne Hambly on concertina.
