Mary-jo May, Development Director

Mary-jo has over 25 years experience with non-profit, public-sector and community-based organizations. She was the Development Director of Bucks County Audubon Society, the Development Director for Young Audiences of New Jersey and Vice President for Development for the Regional Planning Partnership, a land-use planning organization. She has also been a consultant developing business, strategic and marketing plans for non-profit organizations, and has designed community involvement programs for state-wide infrastructure construction projects. She is the former Director of the Greater Princeton Transportation Management Association, a nonprofit organization that promotes alternative transportation programs designed to reduce traffic congestion and energy use, and was the Assistant Director of Community and Public Relations for the NJ Department of Transportation

Personal

Mary-jo has lived in Buckingham for 27 years and has three children ages 10, 20 and 23. Her volunteer work includes: Trustee of the Friends of Peace Valley Nature Center and advisor to the Trinity Church Capital Campaign Committee, former Trustee Delaware River Greenway Partnership and Trinity Church Nursery School Board. She is also a former member of the Central Bucks School District Superintendent's Advisory Council. Mary-jo has had a life-long love of the arts and has been an actor, lighting and set designer, and choir member. She has a Bachelor of Arts from Franklin and Marshall College with a double major in English and Drama.
